Sugar Plum Fairy

To the AGM (the first in 4 years!) of the Friends of Wooler Common this afternoon. Very interesting talk from a guy from the Forestry Commission England which is, apparently, to become Forestry England in April next year. Despite the statement on their website - "we will continue our mission to connect everyone with the nation’s forests", it sounds as though will be run on a commercial basis with a skeleton staff and too few resources. They will aim to make a profit. There's a surprise...

Nice evening though - fish & chips in Berwick, and time for a drink in the bar before watching 'Bohemian Rhapsody' at the Maltings. Brilliant!

The 'Sugar Plum Fairy' caught my eye in Berwick - part of a window display featuring pieces of music. The sheet music for the 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy' was below the costume.
