Telling the story of the pine forest...

You can see in the background hill how small the trees are, this area completely burned off a few years ago and is now recovering with these young trees. The little line of trees on the horizon were the few survivors., as are the trees ahead in the valley. Where I'm standing on the hill opposite, there are only low growing bushes left, with the odd young seedling emerging...
A huge cold wind called the 'tramontana' today, and stopped us having another go at golf today, lets hope for better tomorrow!
