Watching the World

...go by on Giraldo Square (which is far from square), in Évora. Took a photo of men on this very bench over a year ago, don't think any of them are the same. We often see older folk struggling with technology. Still appreciate the slow pace of life here.

Mike, meanwhile, was rushing round all the shops outside the walls, buying water pipes and fittings, a compost bin, a clothes line to replace the one that keeps breaking, tools, and so on. He very kindly left me to wander in the old part, I had such a bad night, but a lovely afternoon.
