Chislehurst

A pleasant drive along the A303 - stopping at the American Diner for morning coffee - a fun experience! Thankfully the A303 and the the M25 were flowing well so I arrived in good time. Lovely to see Rose and Dave (my south African friends) again and a lot of chinwagging went on!  The house was built in the 1930's and has had nothing done in all that time apart from finally having central heating put in in 2008 when Alison was about 88 years young! She only got a washing machine when she got to 90.  There is no mobile phone connection, no internet and no TV so it was a huge treat being out of 'contact' though I'd only enjoy it for about a week I guess.  Having to back blip now.
