Life on the canal

A very dull, drab day and cool with it. I went out on a U3A historic London walk around literary Islington this morning. Islington is an area l know quite well having lived nearby for many years but always an interesting place.
Regents canal runs through the area linking up with New End river. Lots of people have canal boats here both to live on permanently and as a pastime.
