The Thinker, Midstone

After the glorious weather and sheer relaxed enjoyment of Brighton, it was back down to earth with a bit of a bump for a trip into town on a damp, grey, drizzly day. This does not show Maidstone in it's best light (if it actually has one!). Everything felt flat and slightly downbeat - or maybe that was just my mood!
I was cheered up a bit when I got home and opened my photography magazine - they had an interview with a photographic hero of mine, Harry Gruyaert. I'd never even seen a photograph or an interview with him before so it was very enlightening. Also, in the same magazine they featured a Japanese photographer who had managed take an astounding number of images in one year - 110,000!!!! God knows how managed to take that many yet alone edit them all!
