a little bit of rhubarb

By Puggle

In an old building today, truffling about amongst long-abandoned items.

Whilst happily investigating various nooks and crannies (nostrils and reflexes on high alert in case there was a dead body in a dark corner - one really doesn't like to literally stumble across them if it can be avoided), I was startled by what I presumed/hoped was a pigeon, which vanished up through a broken pane in this row of rust-stained windows.

Don't know why, but it just appealed to me. The rust marks and the arrangement of the glass panes, that is. Not the pigeon.*

*Although I'm sure that if I'd got to know it, I would have found it to be a perfectly normal, completely unobjectionable, lice-ridden pigeon.
