Martin Mere

Today we went to the WWT reserve Martin Mere near Preston. Robs friend and ex colleague Jon has invited us several times and today the weather was perfect to finally make it.
Truly a wonderful place and seeing the wildfowl coming to feed was remarkable. A lovely sunset too and we will hope to visit again soon.
Then home for Book Group. Only 3 of us had finished 11.22.63 but we all enjoyed it in parts and felt it was a great read if maybe rather too long. The new book was chosen by Sheila so high expectations and a pity she has emigrated to Scotland!
