TAPESTRY
Pottered around at home for most of the day - didn't get much done but never mind. Around 4pm I had a wander down to the village shops. Didn't need any shopping really but I did need to get some " steps ".
While I was out I got a message on my phone from Amazon to say that the parcel I was expecting had been " left behind the wheelie bin". I was annoyed as on my Amazon account I have a nominated a " Safe Place " for parcel deliveries if I am not at home - inside my garage .The garage is connected to a utility room and the door between them is locked so its not a security risk. ( And if anyone wants to steal anything from my garage they would probably be doing me a favour as it needs a good clear out anyway )
I was even more annoyed with this situation as only last Saturday I had the same problem - 3 parcels left outside my house instead of in my garage. I contacted Amazon via the " Live Chat " facility and after telling them my problem I got a phone call from Amazon Logistics. It was great to speak to a " real person". She was most apologetic, said it shouldn't have happened, she will get to the bottom of it etc. And she gave me £5 credit on my account.
But its happened again. So I did a " Live Chat " again. This time I am promised a refund of the cost of my order ...... and £6 credit. And they are going to contact the carrier to try and sort things out. I have been using Amazon for years and whenever I'm out my parcels have always been put into the garage with no problems so its strange that suddenly this isn't happening. Maybe they have new carriers - or maybe the drivers aren't being told the delivery preferences. Whatevers going wrong I hope that next time they don't leave my parcel outside.
The Abstract Thursday theme today is " Tapestry". I took the easy option and took a photo of my tapestry bag. It has a pattern of flowers, butterflies, ladybirds and dragonflies. I got up close to one of the flowers for my blip shot. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.
