My topsy-turvy life

Warming up

Everton 1 Arsenal 1
After 52 seconds I thought it was going to be one of those* Arsenal games.
Thankfully that didn't happen but we did get a pretty entertaining game despite referee, Mr Oliver, blowing his whistle everytime one player breathed on another.
Arsenal seemed to be pretty pleased with a point at the end and did well as an away team, soaking up loads of pressure and then trying to score 'on the break'. The problem with that being that this is Arsenal and they really should be more concerned with their own free-flowing game. I'm gonna stick my neck out and say that we didn't see a team tonight that will be challenging for the league title come May.

One thing I learnt tonight is to make sure your camera battery is charged. I managed to get this -just- before it ran out. Looking at it now I like the way that Mikel Arteta -player furthest to the left, and former Everton player- seems to be looking over at his former team-mates in blue in the background as if wishing he were still one of them...or maybe that's just me...

* losing 1-6, and 1-4 at home (twice) and the 7-0 defeat at Highbury.
Unfortunately I was at them all!
