The birth of an agapanthus...
It's clearly hard work - it takes days for the flower to fully emerge.
But they are beautiful. This specimen is a "newbie" in Mom's garden.
For years, the agapanthus residence was the front garden, but now there is a clump in the backyard. For the record, this means at least one seed, flitted 100 plus meters, past the house, to germinate in rock hard ground. Isn't nature amazing.
