Creepy birthday message

So today was my birthday.

I received birthday messages from friends and family.....these were much appreciated.

I received birthday messages from the bank, the insurance company, various stores, most of which, I do not shop at.....these were NOT appreciated.  Hello, do this organizations actually think that getting an automated message from them,  once a year, endears me to them.

NO ! 

It is just irritating.  It makes me feel like a cog in the wheel of their megalithic impersonal engine.

But, the message that took the cake, was this one, from google.

Seriously, they were able to identify that it was my birthday and THEN, send me and ONLY ME,  a birthday greeting, when I logged into google.

Eish !

This is seriously scary.

It's like BIG BROTHER is watching YOU.  And knows your every move and can reach across the universe, into your home.
