The new kitchen goes in

Yesterday when we went to J’s house to check on progress, there was a lot of angst as the plasterers had left an incredible mess, and the kitchen cabinetry was booked to be installed today. The result was much sweeping, floor washing, and vacuuming. Successful enough, that most of the cabinetry was in place when we checked again this evening. J is happy with it, and it will make a big difference as there is more space and more functionality. With good eyesight, it is possible to see the tiles which are planned for under and around the windows.
We called in at a local Italian restaurant on the way back to the apartment. A very nice pizza was my choice.
