The Anglo-Bavarian Brewery building

According to Wikipedia, the Anglo-Bavarian Brewery in Shepton Mallet was originally established in Shepton Mallet in Somerset, England in 1864. It has been claimed as the first lager brewery in the United Kingdom, although the evidence for this is disputed. It closed in 1920. The site is now home to a number of small businesses.

I was in Shepton because I've set up a new maths group that started today. I think it's going to be a really good group.

Earlier today, I went into Frome Library to sign a booking form so that I can display 3 photographs as part of their Christmas exhibition. Who knows, if I'm lucky, some mad fool might even buy one of them!
