Blood pressure

whatever your blood pressure is, mine is lower

even after coffee, it was 90/60 this morning when I got my little health test for a life insurance policy

Usually it is closer to 100

The EKG looked boring and repetitive so hopefully it is. I don't think I've had one of those before. 

Then I rushed off to Trader Joes and bought, "turkey wrapped in cornbread stuffing and puff pastry." I bought some chicken alfredo, mushroom risotto, and spanikopita. Voilà, Thanksgiving dinner is ready in the freezer. For dessert I bought almond kringle. 

Have you had kringle? If you have not had kringle, I highly recommend you go to Denmark or order some from the one US bakery that makes it (in Wisconsin). Yes, people order it and have it shipped to them because it is that good. The check out man was Sikh and said it was the best thing in the world. How is that for cultural diversity? A Sikh man in the US saying a Danish dessert is the best thing in the world. The woman paying for her food in the next aisle asked what it was so I told her and advised her to only give it to those she loves because only they deserve it. The man LOVED THIS and repeated it several times. 

Trader Joes has a special deal with the bakery which is why we can get it here, at very reasonable prices.

It was a lovely start to a pretty good day. I got to work from home. I got to talk with a colleague from years ago.  

The election continues, bringing drama and excitement. 

Tomorrow winter begins.
