Good Morning.

Another day dawns behind Blackford Hill in the south of Edinburgh. Sun casts its pink and orange glow as we gear up for Friday 13th.

The BBC says it's going to be "cloudy" for the next three days here. Well it's a safe bet isn't it? Other forecasts have it different - more snowfall, sunny intervals, cold.....

I like the guy on Sky who wanders into shot as though he has just come in off the street. He waves his arm in the general direction of the immense broiling weather wall behind him and delivers what sometimes appear a string of careless, off-the-cuff remarks. The map is as likely to show conditions over Russia as Ruislip. It doesn't really matter. It's all covered in cloud anyway.

Then he finishes abruptly.
