Sgurr Finniscaig

This is the top of Sgurr Finniscaig, a minor summit stuck on to the north slopes of Aonach Mor, a 4000 foot mountain.
Work took me within a few paces of the top so I just visited it briefly. If you know the area you will be aware that it is normally very easy to reach this hill from the Gondola (cable car) top station. Unfortunately it is closed for annual maintenance and this job couldn't wait for its re-opening. To compound matters it was a day of heavy rain driven in gales that could take you off your feet. What a soaking we got; probably our most unpleasant day of weather of the year so far.
