THE DONKEYS AT HERSTELLE

We often drive to Herstelle for a walk along the river Weser there.
There is a nice path for walkers and cyclists. At our left side the big gardens that end just before the path, and at our right sight the river.
A very different view of the river from where we live, no hills on both sides, a majestic view nethertheless.  A huge bridge at the end of Herstelle, I can't discover any beauty in it. We walk underneath the bridge and a new panorama opens.
I found it a bit cold to walk far. So we sat on a bench and returned.
The two donkeys in the field walk to the fench where we stand, they are curious but not for a long time.

Perhaps the donkey seem so quiet and sweet, and they are of course. I can't remember seeing them jumping or running ever.
