It's not all gloom Down Our Way

I'm usually often very critical of our town, it suffers from "Run Down New Town" syndrome, but I do have the good fortune to live in one of the nicer bits, and even better, the council can't do much to spoil it. The fields between us and the river are mostly of archaeological interest and strictly protected by English Heritage.
