Boom

We got in at about 10.30 PM yesterday and were winding down with a bit of TV and a cup of tea and heard an almighty explosive bang. Had a look and the inner leaf of this sealed unit exploded for no apparent reason.
Never a dull moment.
I got to the library this morning and fellow volunteers Debbie and Sue agreed that the display of garden books had passed its season. So we spent an hour and a half getting the Christmas books out of store. (Sorry about that).
How the population of our small town can need so many Christmas books is beyond me but it was gratifying to see the first reader browsing the display and picking one to read before we were finished.
