St Ives

Crept away for a couple of days as weather forecast indicated a few drier days following the torrential rain of last week. Found a lovely little site a mile from the harbour at st ives, so walked down, and as I am not quite ready to trudge up a steep hill yet planned to bus back to the stop just down road from site. .....no one told us that you can only catch a bus TO st ives from.there, and they don't stop coming back. So we ended up at a stop almost a couple of miles from where we needed to be, on a dark wet night with no pavement on the narrow main road. Hey ho, R.the Springer can now add riding in a taxi to life's experiences!
