Under Milk Wood

I bought tickets for Under Milk Wood way back in August as I thought Bev would be here and that she’s enjoy it. Also it would give her a chance to meet the daughters again. #2 acted in a school production directed by friend Carole who was her English teacher.

This got 4 stars in the Guardian. It was a bit of a shock to hear it in local accents but it didn’t really matter. I was surprised that so few people laughed at the sly humour, but maybe they felt a bit exposed it being in the round and with a small audience. It required a bit of concentration too as it is very intense, but so good.
