All is revealed

Salvia involucata.  A few days ago I showed the developing inflorecence.  As the flowers develop and open, the large link bracts drop to the ground like fallen rose petals.  The flowers are worth the wait.

Feeling under par today so have only done the necessary .... which was more than enough with trips out for Jamie's violin lesson and later a physio appointment at the hospital.  Lovely to hear the violin played at home tonight, such a talent :-)

Need to recharge for a long day tomorrow.
