The Last Tree

Back to the planting.  Today we were back on the hillside we were planting on Sunday - but today was a bit special.  

After two years of steady effort by Trees for Life volunteers, today was the day that planting in this area of the estate was completed.  Over that two year period 300,000 trees have been planted in the New Forest of Allt Ruadh - so we planted the last trees, had a celebratory dram and shut the gate.  

The next few years will be interesting to watch.
