Gladstone Library

We drove to Hawarden to visit my cousin J and her husband mckellier, who was around for a year on Blipfoto. 
Arriving a little early, a visit to the [url=https://www.gladstoneslibrary.org/]Gladstone Library[/url] was suggested so we started there. They have a very nice cafe, the building is beautiful and the atmosphere very welcoming. I could well imagine staying here for a course or event. This picture is taken in the chapel where a conveniently placed piano gave me a lovely reflection.
Later we all went out to a nearby restaurant pub and ate delicious food. I was amused when J asked for a G&T and was presented with a never-ending list of gins. Having chosen one she was then presented with an only slightly shorter list of tonic waters!
