A detail

It has been a very busy day with repair work morning and afternoon and a three hour end of year meeting with the accountant.  The good news was that there were no unpleasant shocks and we live to trade another day.  I had to partially strip down the clock featured in yesterday's blip so decided to take a macro of the tiny enamelled portrait on the side of the case which only measures about one inch square.  I don't remember my courting days being like this!
