Remembrance Sunday

We met a pilot friend of No 2 son for coffee this morning at 'Pot Kettle Black' near our hotel.  It was good to catch up with her and she is now based in Manchester.  We had first met her a couple of years ago in New Zealand when they were doing their flying training together.

Next stop Media City using the trams.  We went to see Nigella Lawson at The Lowry talk about her life and cooking. Really good fun and she was very entertaining.  My first time here and it is very impressive.  After the show we had a look around the Lowry exhibition which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Tram back to the city, dinner (two very large gin and sicilian lemon tonic at Jamie's Italian) and then bed.
