Remembrance

One of the worst days I have ever experienced in the Lake District. Torrential rain driven by high winds all day. A one point the wing was strong enough to lift me off my feet! (I knew I shouldnt have taken that 6st off).
I took only one landscape photograph all day. In desperation we retired to Loweswater church, at least it was dry, where we were joined by drowned ramblers at lunchtime before they ventured back out into the wild weather.
In the aftermath of Remembrance Sunday the church was bedecked with local memories of the fallen and this flower arrangement caught my eye. In sympathy with the occasion I have distressed it slightly with Topaz.
