Hawk

Today was the last day of our photography adventure.  Most of us were up very early to get some final shots around the property before we headed back to San Jose.  This hawk was also up early and sat on this branch for the longest time, in the early morning sunshine, watching...and waiting.

I must confess that I was really delighted to get into my luxurious hotel room in San Jose, with air conditioning, beautiful linens, fluffy pillows, fast wifi, and TV.  I spent the afternoon reviewing some of my photos and catching up before meeting all the blippers for dinner and some final goodbyes.  Some of us will be here another day before we head home, so the adventure isn't quite over.
