Veterans' Day

Celebrating Veterans' Day with the oldest veteran I know. This man, Tom Lucas, celebrated his 96th birthday last Thursday. He was part of the 101st Airborne Division parachuting into France hours before the Normandy invasion. Tom received 5 Purple Hearts during his service to our country in WWII and Korea. He has been a longtime Downtown Rotarian, but our club- Madison South Rotary- adopted him many years ago. He comes to our meeting every week and always has lots of stories to tell. Stories none of us would want to be in.
