Aye, an eye!

An appointment with the optician this morning and it was a long and very thorough examination.  Both the distance and the reading bits of my varifocals need changing so I had to choose new frames too.  

As anyone who needs glasses knows, it's really tricky to decide which ones to go for.  You can't really see what they look like without your glasses on, and unlike anything else you wear, they are something which you are going to wear each and every day for at least a year, with all sorts of different clothes, summer and winter.  It's not easy!  Luckily Mike had come in, looking for me, by the time I was choosing them, so he was able to advise!
