Rabbit hole

I was instructed to be somewhere (work-related) for 9:15am.
I arrived on time, only to find the whole place didn’t even begin activity until 10am.
I sat and waited.
At 12pm I was told to come back at 2pm.
At 1.30pm someone told me to hang on but they didn’t think I’d be needed after all because some paperwork was missing.

This included some paperwork from me that was completely unnecessary and had never been requested. This paperwork was to say I’d submitted paperwork (you couldn’t make this up).

At 2pm I was told I wasn’t needed and I could leave.

All this on my day off work.
Bastards.
