Birthday Girl

A very busy day that started early with a trip to the bathroom design place to fine tune what we’re getting. I am more than a little excited.

I made a start on the Christmas baking which mostly involved soaking vast amounts of dried fruit. I usually make a cake but this year I’m having a go at puddings and mincemeat too!

At 2 the Taskmaster party guests started arriving. It all seemed to go well and they all enjoyed themselves, even the teens! Early evening, parents of a pair of guests arrived and they ended up staying until almost 11 - one of those lovely relaxed enjoyable evenings that come from nowhere.

A most successful day.
