Nearer To The Roasting Chestnuts

This is one of our favorite streets in Porto.
Rua Santa Catarina.
We stayed here several weeks in the spring before moving to Braga in early October. Today during our day trip, from a distance,
the street had multiple chestnut vendors and the sunlight hitting these randomly placed smokers was pure visual heaven.

The extra shows how it looked from a distance. And captures, also, two young ladies with XL skateboards. They are carrying them because as you can tell, the streets and sidewalks in Portugal are 99.99% skateboard unfriendly.
