Roof Terrace View
Not so much sun today until late afternoon but still mild and perfect for walking. This is a late afternoon view over the nearby olive groves...and on to the hills.
We went to a different part of the Via Verde this afternoon where there are a number of bridges designed and built by Gustave Eiffel's pupils. Joining the deep valleys around here it made the olive collection railway possible and ensured the olive oil industry could develop in this poor area.
Baena is a nearby town which is famous for its olive oil.
