Dipping Gull

For several days now I have been watching this Black Headed Gull - it is alone in a stream - spends several minutes diving in and out of the water, not appearing to be hunting. It goes right under the water - strange!

My apologies for my lack of commenting - nothing new I know - if commenting was mandatory for Blip I would have to give up - I don't want to do that. I am so grateful to those of you who regularly look in on me really appreciate your comments - thank you so much xx
