A seafood diet

That's seafood on a pizza though, mind.

After much biggin' up from Miss D, I finally visited the best pizza joint on the Sunshine Coast: Ba Vigo.

The recommendation was for a seafood pizza. Cityboy DaVinci was expecting a few small prawns and maybe a slice of haddock. But no - this was sensational - a proper seafood pizza. Massive prawns, still with shells on, huge mussells, and some wonderful tasting snapper on there too.

Washed down with some lovely Rioja (yes, I know I'm in Oz and should be drinking their wines, but this was a Spanish restaurant so Spanish wine was in order.

Miss D's folks enjoyed the experience too - but then they have been here circa 1000 times before and know that it never disappoints.

Reminds me of a pantomime gag of yesteryear:

"I'm on seafood diet"

"What does that mean"

"If I see food, I just eat it"

And that's just what has been happening here - waistline expanding quite nicely.

However, quite jealous of Scobes, and the second Drumbeg excess of 2009 is now underway. Happy birthday young man!
