Overdue

The first Student into the library today had quite a surprise to give me. Little Charlie was returning a book to me. "I'm sorry, it's a bit late," he explained "My mum took the book out when she was a student here and she forgot to return it"

It was over 16 years overdue!

Amazing. It was pre-barcode era and would have had an issue card with it. I've put a barcode on and will put it into circulation tomorrow. I'll be interested to see who takes the book out next.
