Chinese Rose

Aka hibiscus, rose mallow or something ... are flourishing all over Hong Kong at the moment. And this is a fine specimen here in DB. The Bauhinia tree is also in bloom and I shall be blipping that too soon. Seems a little late this year.

We had 1 1/2 hrs of core ab work today at Pilates and no doubt I shall be sore as anything over the next few days. I do hate the phrase “no pain, no gain!”

Met up with Ev and her husband Chris for lunch with a tiny little cake to celebrate his actual 50th birthday which is today.
