Leaves that were green...

Leaves that were green have not only turned to gold, but on the trees they are very scarce. Elsewhere on the paths and gardens they lie in abundance.

Cosmo came to visit today. She was very pleased to see us after our week away. We took her to the park. We might have had a coffee with her at the cafe, but it felt far too cold to us, especially after we had become to the more moderate climate in Venice earlier in the week.

Cosmo enjoyed running around between the rose beds, and did not seem bothered by the cold.
