Glorious!

"Look!" exclaimed S, pointing out of the office window. I was up and out of the house in seconds. The whole sky was awash with colour, but within a couple of minutes it was almost all gone. I worked as fast as I could, and the first shot turned out to be the best. We don't often see sunsets at home so this was a real treat, albeit short-lived.

If it hadn't been for that, today's blip would have been a dull emergency one. It was pouring with rain this morning, and I hurried round Begur photographing random architectural features, none of which was very inspiring. Maybe this sky means it will be better weather tomorrow. Meanwhile, an evening by the fire beckons.
