A very moving day today watching the Danny Boyle WW1 centenary tribute on Weymouth beach. A soldier - Private Stanley McDougall was etched into the sand to be washed away as the tide came in. We also had Billy Bragg reading a poem and singing and many etches of soldiers and nurses etched into the sand. I’ve added an extra of that and an aerial picture I pinched from the TV of the huge picture. It was all done so well.
Ended our day by going up to Nothe Fort to watch the beacon being lit.
