Left Behind

It was a pleasant afternoon - if somewhat chilly in the breeze. I had a short wander to the top of the hill to see if there were winter migrants around. There were plenty of Fieldfare and some Redwing, and I finally got my first glimpse of the year of a Brambling. However, they were somewhat flighty so I wasn't able to get any photos. There were also gangs of Starlings flying round the fields. For some reason, this one had been left behind.
