Mount Teide

......is the highest point in Spain at just over 3,700 metres above sea level, its peak is the one on the left of the thumbnail, seen earlier this morning as we set off for our walk.

Didnt sleep particularly well last night, was awake between 3 and 5....but we were up and out on the balcony before 10....it was already pretty warm!

We walked up to top behind our resort, before walking all the way down to our usual coffee pitstop. Watched the football, had lunch, hub had a couple of bacardi and cokes, I had water and a few slurps of his ;-)

We walked on further, stopped for an icecream, eventually clocking up 13k steps getting back to our apartment in time for me to watch the Manchester Derby. Not expecting the result to go our way, but so far, we are still in it, just about!

Probably been the hottest day of the holiday today, 34 in the sun! Tans coming along nicely!

We having a meal in the resort restaurant tonight, as our favourite duo are playing. We havent seem them yet this holiday :-)'
