Boom!

That time of the year when I stick my head out the attic window to watch and photograph the fireworks!The mallards and ducks were not happy about them, could hear them quacking! Maybe even quaking! Oscar was not a bit bothered! 
Earlier in the day sister and I had wrapped the xmas presents for the Canadian relatives and sent them off surface mail. I would have sent them airmail much later but my sister hates wasting money!We then walked Oscar and got home just as the rain started! 
Sister watched Ice skating as I made a late lunch/early dinner then I took Oscar for another walk, he still went loopy when we got back and after playing with him I finally resorted to the bubbles again to calm him down. He went straight into his basket and fell asleep - over tired! My sister then gave me a tutorial on the cross stitch she had given me last Xmas! Oh my life! Even with a magnifying light it is so small! Will have to be done when Oscar is asleep with the radio on as no way could I watch tv and do it! We watched strictly with a break halfway thru to watch the fireworks and then that was it - day over, backblip done and time for bed!
