Searching

In Nose Work, the dogs learn to search for a specific odor or odors and find the source. In this case the odor was lavender oil. That is the first odor they will meet if they get to go to a competition.

I met with Helle this morning to train dogs. Hero, Gollum and Jazz worked on their new routines, Ex-it worked on her obedience exercises and Cookie, Doggie and Biscuit did some Nose Work searches. 

This is Biscuit, who just found the source. The odor is hidden in the small round metal container. 

After our training, we took all 7 dogs for a walk in the woods and then Helle and I had lunch together before we drove home. 

I have spend the afternoon ordering Christmas cards and some Christmas presents online.
