D Grandfather, died in 1917 , he is buried in O’Mer in France, he left behind his wife and 2 small boys ,

He volunteered in 1914 with 7 others from the same road, non of them returned leaving widows and young children, He fought in Galapoli, died from his injuries in the hospital in St Omer Lonuenesse Souvenier Cemetry,
