Up to the boat club’s landlord’s solicitors. No expense spared with these guys - and we’re picking up the tab. Imagine - we got Scottish Power to pop a spur in 2m outside our yard fence in the old pier and the Granton Landlord Inc refused to let them fill it in again without a letter of apologies from us, a signed agreement, a survey of the hole.... all of which we’ve to pay for. Best bit of a grand into their fat offshore account (Jersey) scabby pockets. The way of the world. Dance, little people, dance.
Afterwards, a haircut and a trip over to the boatyard - first up, a tour of Belle Ile’s Penta - although raw water cooled it has a nicely accessible drain cock. I have a plan, so that makes me very content.
