Woolen Poppies

The last chance I would have to photograph the woolen poppies at St John's Church, Keswick before Armistice Day tomorrow. Cumbria's 2018 Poppy Appeal was launched here with 13,000 hand-crafted poppies. Some of them are knitted and some are crocheted, in various stitches and shades of red..

I did my shopping this morning so we had the afternoon free to go to Keswick in the afternoon. It's ages since I've been to Keswick on a Saturday and seen the market.
