Flock of Seagulls

This was such a strange sight.
A flock of baby? sea gulls sticking together exactly at the waterline. When the wave comes in they all run forward and when the wave retreats they all go back as one.

Such a funny sight as they are running to and fro all the time. First I thought that they do this to feed themselves with little animals being washed adore, but I never saw one eat anything, so I decided they're just blunt stupid, but damn funny too ;-)
